The transport infrastructure created for the '92 Games has been essential in determining mobility in Barcelona to this day: for example, the construction of the Rondas significantly improved traffic in and around Barcelona or to get up to the Olympic Stadium (lucky for the escalators!). In the next CARNET Insights we will talk to experts about past innovations and their impact on our mobility today and what we can learn from the experiences gained.
Speakers:
- Estanislau Roca (professor emeritus at the UPC).
- Mateu Turró Calvet (PhD in Civil Engineering, MSc from the University of Michigan and Professor of Transport at the ETSECCP (UPC)).
- Lluís Millet i Serra (Doctor of Architecture)
Moderator: Cristina Salvador (Founder at Both, People & Comms).
