Sandra Miret (@sandramiret), cultural disseminator and feminist film analyst specializing in film and gender, presents her first essay, Damas, villanas y lolitas (Bruguera), where she analyzes the stereotypes of a generation and how they affect the worldview. Television and cinema have traditionally been controlled by men, projecting a male gaze that treats women as an object, a mere accessory. In her book, Sandra Miret explores the stereotypes and representations that women have faced throughout history, to finally find their own identity in the audiovisual world.
