Synopsis: Based on the true story of a family that lived through one of the worst natural disasters of our time. Maria (Naomi Watts), Henry (Ewan McGregor) and their three children begin their winter holidays in Thailand, but on the morning of 26 December, as they enjoy a post-Christmas swim in the pool, a terrifying roar rises from the centre of the earth. As Maria is paralysed with fear, a gigantic wall of black water rushes towards them.
