Lymphedema: how to treat this sequela of breast cancer

Lymphedema is a health problem that affects more than 300 million people. In Europe, the main cause of Iymphedema is as a sequel to breast cancer, which affects one in eight women, many of whom will have to undergo axillary lymph node emptying.
In this meeting with Dr. Jaume Masià, director of the Advanced Breast Reconstruction Service and the Comprehensive Lymphedema Treatment Unit at Clínica Planas, the latest advances in the treatment of this condition will be explained. Vanessa Nueda will moderate the conversation in which Dr. Masià's patients will also intervene and share their experience with the attendees.
