Synopsis: Mia, a 10-year-old girl, strikes up an extraordinary friendship with a white lion born on her parents' cat farm in South Africa. For three years they grow up together and develop a unique and very special relationship. But when Mia turns 14, she discovers a disturbing truth: her father has decided to sell the lion to trophy hunters. Desperate, Mia has no choice but to run away with Charlie to save him.
