Making sure that goods and materials move efficiently is a key factor for cities' economic growth. Last mile logistics operations (corresponding to the last step of the supply chain in urban environments) account for 40% of total freight transport costs. How can efficiency in this field be improved? What changes are digitalisation and automation promoting? How can more flexible delivery schemes be generated that allow for better coordination of all parties? They will reflect on the future of last mile distribution:

- Prof. Dr Jose Holguin-Veras (Director of the VREF Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Urban Transport Systems at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute).
- Alberto Sanfeliu (Professor at the UPC, director of Mobile Robotics and Intelligent Systems at the IRI and head of the research group VIS - Artificial Vision and Intelligent Systems).
- Sr. Adrià Gomila (Director of Mobility Services of the Ajuntament de Barcelona Mobility and Infrastructures).
