“Ni cap visibilitat és vista” by Maria Sevilla Paris
January 18
12:30 pm
At CASA SEAT we present the Poetrónica cycle, curated by Francesc Cuéllar, a proposal that fuses poetry and electronic music. On this occasion, we will have Ni cap visibilitat és vista, a performance poetry piece in audiovisual format created by the writer and poet Maria Sevilla Paris.
This innovative work explores the gaze as a promise and a reproach, as a point of origin and at the same time of escape, bringing into play the art of the word as a “function that makes the invisible visible” (Laboria Cuboniks).
Maria Sevilla Paris, is a prominent researcher and teacher of Catalan language and literature at the University of Barcelona. Author of four books of poetry (Dents de polpa, 2015; Kalàixnikov, 2017; Plastilina, 2021 and La nit ovípara , 2024), and an essay (No desitjaràs els béns del proïsme, 2024) Maria has revolutionized the literary scene with her avant-garde approach, becoming also one of the programmers of l'Horiginal since 2019.
The event will take place on Floor 0 of CASA SEAT.
