After the success of her album on the Spanish women poets of the Generation of '27, Sheila Blanco invites us to cross the Atlantic to discover the female talent that grew and matured in Latin America during the last century. Accompanied only by her piano, the singer and composer will sing and narrate the names, lives and works of poets such as Juana Ibarbourou from Uruguay, María Mercedes Carranza from Colombia or Magda Portal from Peru, among others.
In this round trip between both continents, Sheila Blanco will also recover the creations of other poets of the Generation of '27, such as Elisabeth Mulder from Barcelona or Margarita Ferreras from Zamora. In addition, she will also pay tribute to a reference for all of them as Rosalía de Castro, of whom she will sing one of her poems in Catalan.
Do not miss this opportunity to celebrate the artistic legacy of some of the main Spanish-speaking poets of the twentieth century in a recital that will be full of beauty and magical moments.
This show is organized in collaboration with NUDO, festival of poetry unleashed.
