Synopsis: Conor (Lewis MacDougall) is a 12-year-old boy who, after his parents' separation, takes on the responsibility of running the household, as his mother (Felicity Jones) is ill with cancer. The young boy will try to overcome his fears and phobias with the help of a monster (Liam Neeson), but his fantasies will have to face not only reality but also his cold and calculating grandmother (Sigourney Weaver).
