From 10 September through the end of the month, CASA SEAT will be hosting the Prelude to the Barcelona Biennial 2021.
A gathering of contemporary artists and curators, with a special focus on women, minorities and disadvantaged immigrants. Arriving from all over, including Latin America and the Middle East, Amina Zoubir, Raquel Van Haver, Hela Ammar, Moreshin Allahyari, Em´kal Eyongakpa y Marwan Elgamal will present their pieces, photos, audiovisuals, conferences and workshops.
The Biennial isn’t so much an art exhibition as a search for new paradigms that go beyond art. The concept is based on exploring history and seeking to contribute an interpretation of the past, through voices that have previously been silenced and forgotten, in order to build a better today and tomorrow.
